Mobile GTA 5 was launched on iOS and Android in 2013. It was initially released in 2013 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game was released along with several downloadable content (DLC) packages and updates, purchased separately or included in one of two premium packages.
On 8th October 2015, GTA Online, the latest installment of GTA 5, was released, with players able to purchase it instantly at the total price without having to wait the traditional 90-day period between full releases.
